D-PO is an extremely early prototype for an incremental game that has guns.
There's Swords too!

Features so far include:

  •  9 weapons to choose from, 5 guns and 4 swords.
  • Can buy ammunition for certain guns
  • Shoot/Slash targets to earn cash
  • Convert cash into upgrade tokens to buy upgrades
  • 5 upgrades to help get more cash and upgrade tokens faster

UPGRADES:

  1. Golden Bullets- increase the amount of cash that can be earned by destroying targets
  2. More Targets- more targets spawn at once
  3. Faster Targets- targets spawn faster
  4. Increased Upgrade Tokens- can convert cash into more upgrade tokens
  5. 2X multiplier-  doubles the cash earned 

What is planned to be added:

  • Music and more sound effects
  • More types of unique guns and swords
  • Bosses
  • More types of currency
  • Rework on many mechanics e.g. Ammo usage, Targets having health
  • A way to idle the game


Remember this is an extremely barebones prototype, and therefore they may be bugs. If any are discovered, uploading a comment about the issue is the best way for any problems to be addressed.

funnily enough, I’ve actually went back to adding stuff to the game recently. If all goes well, might be an update in the next week or two.

Completely cheesed it. If you open the shop it resets the upgrade prices. If you go back and forth enough times you can beat it in 15 minutes.

if you were to autoclick any automatic it would shoot faster?

2x multiplier does not appear to be working properly... I am getting 136 cash per bull's eye, or 68 cash per normal hit even with EVERYTHING maxed out. Since you should be getting at least 50 just from the cash upgrades....

Loved the game excited for the next update it was a lot of fun

also how do i use the ammo i buy 

Might add an option to make text bold so it's a bit easier to read. Ammo is only used up by guns that use ammo, so whereas the basic pistol has infinite ammo, something like the SAMG would need small ammo.

On the whole, a fun idea and neat execution. Some weapons feel worse than the base pistol. A few things I found during play: holding enter after selecting ammo lets you continue to buy without wasting ammo of your equipped weapon. If you exit to menu and come back, bought upgrades revert to original price until you buy one of them and bought weapons show up as unbought, although you can still equip them. Finally, if you have a sword equipped and drag out of the games focus, the weapon doesn't do the attack.

Thanks for the feedback. Working on the next update and hopefully I can get these problems fixed soon, including weapon balancing to incentivize using weapons other than the pistol. Glad you've enjoyed playing!

when you buy ammo with a weapon equipped using it, it shoots right away....so you just lose money...

actually every click is a shot...clicks in menus should not be shots otherwise you waste ammo
